Our History

The former Pioneer Manor provided a caring home for hundreds of residents since it opened. In May 2012, the new Pioneer Manor opened its doors, with 56 residents relocating from the old building, and a growing waiting list. This state-of-the-art facility offers unprecedented design, style and delivery of care for the residents, with a higher capacity of 87 residents. The building was funded through a county bond issue.

The former Pioneer Manor building is in the process of being renovated for the Stevens County Physical Therapy Department. The swimming pool that provided exercise and water therapy for the Pioneer Manor residents remains in operation, and will be used for physical therapy purposes.
